Interface in Design, Inc. (IID) is the U.S. headquarters of a Tokyo-based company providing strategic design consulting to businesses whose needs are multi-disciplinary as well as multi-cultural.

IID began as a design consultant to Nissan, gathering and analyzing consumer reactions to Nissan advanced vehicle concepts.  Subsequently, our services expanded to include the consumer electronics industry as we began to conduct studies in the U.S. for non-Nissan clients.

Our goal is to maximize our clients' ability to tailor their products to the marketplace by offering a unique blend of consulting and custom marketing research with particular sensitivity to the designers' point of view.
