Started as a strategic subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd since 1993, Interface in Design has supported the development and business operations of Japanese companies in the U.S. market. In the process of creating a new business, Interface in Design used new research techniques, discovered business tasks, and developed business models. Along with techniques, tasks and models, Interface in Design provided consultations, including suggestions for improving business, as well as supported concept creation.

In 2001, Interface in Design became independent from Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Since then have provided support to not only autos and auto related projects, but also to a wide variety of industries such as home electronics, information equipment, consumer products, and entertainment.

Since the summer of 2009, Interface in Design has been providing a service that has revolutionized social media research. Our proprietary platform monitors consumer's reviews and comments posted on social media. Based on our customer's specifications we then analyze the data and provide specific results.
