Interface in Design, Inc., (hereafter referred to as “our” or “we”) values the privacy of our customers, project participants, and others who visit, share information or use services on www.iid-usa.com (hereafter referred to as the “Website”) and any other websites, applications or services owned or operated by Interface in Design, Inc. The Information Interface in Design, Inc. Collects
Personally Identifiable Information. You may provide personally identifiable information to Interface in Design including, but not limited to, your name, email address, postal mailing address, home/mobile telephone number, credit card number, and billing information (collectively referred to hereafter as “PII” or “personally identifiable information”). PII may be collected, without limitation, in connection with your participation in our studies, receipt of electronic newsletters, participation in our seminars/webinars, or your viewing of content on the Website. In addition, you may choose to post certain personally identifiable information to the Website, such as your personal comments to our blogs and social networks.
Cookies. When you visit the Website, we may send one or more cookies—small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters—to your device. The Website uses a combination of session, persistent, and performance cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Website. Interface in Design, Inc. collects cookies on our Website to capture information about page visits. How Interface in Design, Inc. Uses Your Information
In General. Interface in Design, Inc. uses the PII that we collect so that we may provide you with the Services. For example, we will use your email address notifying you of major website updates, for customer service purposes, or to contact you regarding any of the activities on the Website or any other Services in which you may be participating. We use your email address to send you activity emails, newsletters, and notices about special events, products, or services available from directly from our company or on the Website.
Usage tracking. As described more specifically in the Cookies section above, Interface in Design, Inc. tracks user traffic patterns throughout the Website, to improve the user experience and interactions of visitors.
When Interface in Design, Inc. Discloses Information
Interface in Design, Inc. may occasionally share your PII with other organizations for marketing or promotional uses. Typically, such organizations will be affiliated with Interface in Design, Inc. (such as various local or regional partners). You have the option to “opt-out” of any such sharing of your PII.

You may, of course, decline to share your PII with Interface in Design, Inc. in which case you will not be able to fully participate (or participate at all) on the Website and the Services in general. To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting account access. However, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your member identification at all times.

Interface in Design, Inc. uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of personally identifiable information. Interface in Design, Inc. operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. We periodically review and enhance our security and privacy policies as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our users, customers, sponsors and members. HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE THAT SUCH INFORMATION MAY NOT BE ACCESSED, DISCLOSED, ALTERED, OR DESTROYED BY BREACH OF ANY OF OUR PHYSICAL, TECHNICAL, OR MANAGERIAL SAFEGUARDS.
Commitment to Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, Interface in Design, Inc. does not knowingly collect or maintain PII on the Website from persons under 13 years-of-age, and no part of the Website is directed to persons under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access the Website at any time or in any manner. If we learn that PII of persons less than 13-years-of-age has been collected, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information.
If you are a parent or guardian who has discovered that your child has submitted his or her personal information without your permission or consent, Interface in Design, Inc. will take reasonable steps to remove that information from the its database at your request. To request removal of your child’s information, please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to include in your message the same user name, password, and e-mail address that your child submitted.
If you are visiting from the Asia or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that you are transferring your personal data to the United States and by providing your personal data, you consent to that transfer.
In the Event of Merger or Sale
In the event that Interface in Design, Inc. is acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, we reserve the right to transfer or assign the information we have collected from participants, customers, sponsors and users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.
